1.Project Background
The Water Environment Comprehensive Improvement Project of the Guanghua Section of Jiang'an River is a livelihood and demonstration project for Wenjiang to build a "city with blue sky, green land and accessible water" and improve the living environment. It is Wenjiang's practice to implement Chengdu's major strategic deployment of promoting green development, building a model city of Beautiful China, and constructing "livable water shores and lively water Chengdu".
The total investment of the project is 598.48 million yuan, including: constructing 8.68 km of new dykes, renovating and raising 12.79 km of dykes, building 7 sluice gates (2 new ones and 5 demolished and reconstructed ones), constructing 1 new intake sluice, and building 1 new flood control sluice on the Erdao River, a tributary; dredging 8.67 km of the river channel; at the same time, upgrading and constructing the riverside landscape belt along this section to build livable water shores.
